# Vision

> This section is for anyone evaluating PrigeeX: investors, partners, and curious users.
> It assumes no technical background.

## The opportunity

Decentralized exchanges (DEXes) move billions of dollars in trading volume every day,
entirely through open code, with no company holding user funds, and they earn real revenue
from that trading activity.

PrigeeX is a DEX built on **Arbitrum**, one of the fastest and lowest-cost networks in the
ecosystem, where trades settle in seconds for a few cents.

## What PrigeeX is

PrigeeX is a full decentralized trading platform where users can:

* **Swap** any supported tokens directly from their wallet.
* **Provide liquidity** and earn trading fees, in both a simple mode (**Classic**) and an
  advanced, higher-earning mode (**Concentrated**).
* **Stake PGX** to earn a share of the platform's revenue.
* **Track** pools, volume, and their portfolio through a live analytics dashboard.

Everything runs on public smart contracts that are verified and inspectable, giving users
self-custody and transparency by default.

## What makes PrigeeX's approach compelling

* **Both Classic and Concentrated from day one.** Most forks pick one model. PrigeeX ships the simple,
  hands-off model *and* the advanced, capital-efficient model, serving both casual
  liquidity providers and sophisticated ones. See

* **A revenue-sharing token.** PGX isn't a token that only rises if new buyers appear. A
  large share of real platform revenue flows to PGX stakers, aligning the token's value

* **Low-cost, fast rails.** Building on Arbitrum removes the high-fee barrier that keeps
  everyday users off the main Ethereum network.
* **A polished interface.** A clean, responsive design with light/dark modes, clear
  transaction states, and real-time analytics, so users can always see exactly what's
  happening with their funds.

## Where PrigeeX is today

**Phase 1** is live on Arbitrum testnet, with mainnet ahead: the full DEX (Classic + Concentrated), the
PGX token, staking with revenue distribution, analytics, and a production-ready interface.
It's built to be demonstrated live to users and investors today, while the rest of the
roadmap is actively in progress.

## Why PrigeeX, why now

Arbitrum has years of mainnet uptime behind it, self-custody trading keeps taking share
from centralized exchanges, and DEX tokens that pay out real revenue have held up better
than ones that rely on speculation alone. PrigeeX ships both liquidity models most
competitors only pick one of and ties PGX's earnings directly to trading volume. From
here, the plan is to grow usage of what's live today and then build out a broader platform,
including its own perpetuals product, on top of the Classic + Concentrated spot DEX that anchors it.
