Using a DEX means you are in control of your funds, which also means you’re
responsible for keeping them safe. The good news: a few simple habits protect you from
almost everything. Please read this page before your first trade.
The golden rule
PrigeeX will never ask for your Secret Recovery Phrase (seed phrase) or private key.
No website, wallet, or support agent ever legitimately needs it. Anyone who asks is trying
to steal your funds. Never type it anywhere except into your own wallet’s recovery screen.
Protect your wallet
- Guard your seed phrase. Write it on paper, store it privately, never digitally. See
Set Up a Wallet.
- You approve every transaction. PrigeeX can only propose an action; nothing moves
until you confirm in your wallet. If a popup asks for something you didn’t intend,
reject it.
- Read what you’re approving. Your wallet shows you what each transaction does. If it
looks wrong or unfamiliar, cancel.
Use the real PrigeeX
- Always use the official link. Bookmark it and use your bookmark. Scammers create
fake copies of DEX sites with slightly-misspelled web addresses.
- Beware of ads and DMs. Don’t reach PrigeeX through a search ad, a random link, or a
message from a “support” account. Official support will never DM you first.
- Verify the contracts. PrigeeX’s smart contracts are public and verified on Arbiscan.

Why PrigeeX itself is safe to use
- Self-custody. Your funds stay in your wallet. PrigeeX cannot freeze, move, or spend
them without your explicit approval.
- No private keys stored. The PrigeeX app never sees, stores, or transmits your private
keys or seed phrase.
- Public, verified code. The contracts are open for anyone to inspect on Arbiscan, and
are built using battle-tested, industry-standard components.
- Secure connections. All communication uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Common scams to ignore
- “Send tokens to verify your wallet.” Never. No legitimate service asks this.
- “Claim your free airdrop, connect and approve.” Unexpected “free money” links are a
classic trap to get you to approve a malicious transaction.
- Fake support. Real support won’t DM you, won’t ask for your seed phrase, and won’t
ask you to “share your screen” to fix a problem.
- Look-alike websites. Check the web address character by character; use your bookmark.
Token approvals: a quick word
Before trading a token the first time, you grant a one-time approval so the app can
swap it on your behalf. This is normal. If you ever want to review or revoke approvals you
no longer use, wallet tools and block explorers let you do that.
If something feels off
Stop. Don’t approve anything. Disconnect your wallet, close the tab, and re-open PrigeeX
from your own bookmark. When in doubt, do nothing: a rejected transaction costs you
nothing but peace of mind.
